Dungeons

Enter dungeons to travel to other dimensions and salvage resources while defeating enemies! Loot found in a dungeon can be used to develop the Nexus Realm, improve your gear and more. Every dungeon features a main objective. For the closed alpha, one main objective will be available to play: Defeat the Boss.
Natural health regeneration is disabled in dungeons, however, there are alternative ways to heal. Ways to regenerate health include brewing potions with the unique Cauldron and using Bonfires as resting points.
Dungeons are unforgiving, becoming more dangerous the longer you stay inside. When night falls, mobs in the dungeon become stronger, while loot gets more sparse.
Entering the Dungeon
The Dungeoneering Table is a workbench which houses all aspects for entering dungeons. Here, players choose which dungeon to enter based on the category and tier. The category determines the style of the dungeon, with the tier setting the difficulty level. For the closed alpha, only the lowest tier of dungeons can be visited. After selecting a dungeon, the dungeon portal opens for players to enter.
In multiplayer scenarios, it's possible to enter a dungeon alongside other players by visiting their Nexus Realm and going through their dungeon portal.
Dungeon Themes
Dungeons in Shardborne are split into categories, which follow a general idea of what the player will encounter within. Inside said categories, various themes exist, following a more specified design. Every theme is unique with its own landscapes, mobs and generation. Unlock and explore new dimensions while playing!
